About Me
I’m a Texas girl, born and raised. I am a wife, a momma (to a furry little doodle), a sister, and most importantly, a believer in Christ. I graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2014. Then, I moved back to Houston and got a job as an event planner for a small technology company. This job had its fair share of
Since June of 2018, I decided to dedicate myself to working full-time for my blog. I feel so blessed for the growth I have seen in my business, and am truly thankful for my followers and support group that allow me to keep doing what I love!
A few things about me: I am one of the biggest homebodies you’ll ever meet, but once you get me out and about, I will have the time of my life. I love working out and living an active, healthy lifestyle, but this girl cannot say no to sweets. I come from a big family (5 brothers and sisters) and love every part of it.
I got married to my absolute best friend (cliché, but so very true) in February 2015. Anyone who has met my husband, Clayton, will agree that he is one in a million. He is the most loving, gentle and honest man and I am so grateful that the Lord brought us together. We have had quite the journey since we started dating in 2011 – we did long distance most of our relationship since he was pursuing his dream of baseball and I was going to school in Lubbock. But since getting married, we have lived in Houston and are currently building our dream home!
Together we have our precious fluff ball – Waffles Crum, a (not so mini) mini-golden doodle. I never thought I would be the crazy dog-mom, but my goodness, I take the crown (can you imagine when we finally have kids? Yikes!). His favorite things are Chickfila kids meals, swimming (and by swimming I really mean just getting his feet wet) and eating anything and everything. He is the best thing to ever happen to Clayton and I!
I obviously love fashion or I would not have started this blog (I mean, who couldn’t go to Nordstrom and easily spend $1,000?!). But to me, fashion is more than just materialistic items. It’s the way you feel about yourself when you put on a new outfit and gain a sense of confidence about yourself. That’s what we all strive for, right? We want to look good, feel good and do good. I love using this blog as a platform to empower women to be the best they can be, and encourage each other. There are far too many girls out there who are full of jealousy, negativity and hatred. LET’S BE DIFFERENT! Let’s encourage each other, motivate each other, and compliment each other. I sure as heck don’t have all of the answers, but why not share the ones I do? I love sharing with you my favorite beauty products, killer fashion finds, delicious recipes, work out ideas, the most incredible travel spots, and more! I promise to be completely transparent in every post I make. I want to encourage women to be confident, kind, and find the true beauty in themselves. I truly believe that beauty and security are found in Christ alone – because He is the only one that can satisfy those insecurities.
I strive to find my identity in Christ every day, and then radiate that identity to others through my passion and joy. I hope this blog can help you find a little more confidence and see yourself as the amazing woman you are!

but also to reassure them, give them confidence.”
